Ministries
"Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father" (Colossians 3:17).
Sunday School
We offer Sunday School classes by age group. One class is for seniors, one is for middle aged adults, one is for young adults, and another for children. The classes for seniors and middle aged adults study the Bible Expositor and Illuminator by Union Gospel Press. The class for young adults is currently studying prayer. The class for children studies various topics throughout the year. Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m.
Sunday Evening Bible Study
We have an hour of informal worship and Bible study at 5:30 p.m. We study various topics such as prayer, heaven, etc, or we may study through a book of the Bible. It is a time where you can ask questions and interact with the pastor as he teaches.
Junior Church
The Junior Church is a time set aside for children K-5th grade during the sermon each Sunday. Students learn Biblical truths at their level and how to apply them and also engage in fun activities related to the Bible lesson.
Women's Fellowship
The ladies of the church meet for fellowship on the third Wednesday of each month at 1:30 p.m. They begin with Roll Call, devotions and prayer. At that time they discuss events of the church and make plans for the next month.
The ladies participate in ministry by preparing small gift bags to be given to those of the church that are shut-ins and in nursing homes. A card ministry is also part of each meeting as cards are signed by those present and sent to college students, shut-ins, service men and women and those that are ill or in need of encouragement and prayer.
