God's Plan of Salvation

The Bible tells us that everyone is born a sinner. You and I. - "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23 or in John 8:34 Jesus says, "Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin."

 

Sin brings about spiritual death, which is separation from God. Romans 6:23a, "For the wages of sin is death,...." In John 8:24, Jesus says, " Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins."

 

God is Holy and will not let any sin into heaven. Therefore God provided a way for you to be able to have your sins forgiven and have eternal life. Jesus Christ died for you!

Romans 5:8 says, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us." Jesus says in John 10:15, "even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep."

 

Jesus didn't stay dead, He rose from the grave! "Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us." In John 10:17 Jesus says, " For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I may take it up again."

 

Jesus Christ has conquered death and offers eternal life to all who will believe on Him.

Romans 6:23b says, "...but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Jesus says in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."

 

We accept God's gift of eternal life by believing in faith. Romans 10:9 says," that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." John 3:36 says," He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."

"Dear Jesus, I am a sinner. I believe in my heart that You died on the cross for my sins. I believe in my heart that You rose again so that I can have eternal life. I am sorry for my sins. Please forgive me and come into my life. Lead me and make me the person you want me to be. Thank you for forgiving my sins. Amen."

 

If you meant what you said and believe it in your heart, then Jesus heard your prayer, has forgiven your sins and has come into your life! You have eternal life now! Jesus will never leave you or forget about you! Romans 8:35 and 8:37 say, "Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?" No! "But in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us." Jesus says in John 10:28," I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand."

 

Now you need to tell your family and friends how Jesus has saved you from your sins and that you have eternal life! They can have their sins forgiven and receive eternal life, too!
